My Time is Mine
My time and what I do with it is precious to me, it is all I have to call my very own. I won’t throw it away and then blame someone else for gobbling it up. I have a right to protect the quiet and enjoyment of my day, to do more of those things that give me pleasure and fewer of those things that run me down. If I am living up to my responsibilities, that is enough.
I won’t throw my time away with both hands
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.
You’re on your own.
And you know what you know.
You are the guy who’ll decide where to go.
