Standing in Awe

Standing in Awe

Today I will appreciate the miracles that surround me on a daily basis. A blue patch of sky, leaves rustling in the wind, someone’s warm smile. The very fact that I am breathing and alive connects me to the deepest mysteries of the universe. My life is full of these daily wonders if I am available to see them, if I take a moment to stand in awe. I will not walk right past what makes me feel alive to chase some experience that I am preoccupied with getting to sixty seconds sooner. I will not rob myself of the experience of my own day.
The real miracle surrounds me all the time, I just need to see it.
In the end, it’s not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away
