Appreciating the Body I Have
I appreciate the body I have today. So many times I want my body to be different from what it is in one way or another. But today, I will love the body I’m in and feel good about the body I have. It may not be perfect, but resenting it is no answer. Nothing new can come to me I don’t appreciate what I already have. Nothing can transform I don’t accept and work with where I am now. I will send good and caring thoughts to my body , I will see it as beautiful no matter what state it’s in. I will love it unconditionally; it doesn’t have to be something else or me to love it.
I accept my body
I was born in Harlem, raised in the South Bronx, went to public school, got out of public college, went into the Army, and then I just stuck with it.
