Emotional Surgery

Emotional Surgery

Today I understand that when I go deep into myself-into old pain and anger-and access the fouled feelings that have been stored on my insides, I am reaching into a wounded and diseased area and am doing surgery in my emotional body. When I release these feelings therapeutically, I am draining toxin and infection out of my body. This is as dramatic to my being as any kind of surgery and is potentially as life-saving. I will care for myself in a special and tender way. If I am drained and a little sore inside, I will understand that I have undergone a curative procedure and I will give myself the time I need to recover.
I understand what emotional surgery entails.
Sanity is very rare; [everyone] has a dash of madness.
