Making A Start

Making A Start

Today I will allow myself to enter in. I will not hold back or keep myself on the sidelines. There is no gain for me in affecting a pose of humility that, if the truth were told, is a combination of fear and insecurity. Today my humility will express itself in my willingness to risk, to try and to fail. This is not in just big areas but small ones as well, the smallest interaction in a grocery line, dealing with the little moments in my day, making contact with those around me rather
than holding myself in. It is expressing and using my emotions rather than saving them up for who knows what. I can enter the moment in small and big ways.
I will make a small move forward.
Instead of standing on the shore and proving to ourselves that the ocean cannot carry us, let us venture on its waters – just to see.
