My Increased Focus

My Increased Focus

Today I notice that I am in touch with my feelings very quickly. I know what I think and feel almost immediately. What used to take me days now takes seconds, and I find that I give much more weight to what I feel than what someone else says. I used to ask other people to tell me what I felt. Now I tell other people what I feel. Life makes much more sense
when I live it from the inside out rather than the outside in. My personality seems so much more focused and in view, while at the same time less rigid and increasingly flexible and spontaneous. This feels like a gift of recovery.
I know what goes on inside of me.
I am more afraid of my own heart than of the Pope and all his Cardinals. I have within me the great Pope, self.
