Process vs. Goal

Process vs. Goal

What is it about the process that is more alive than the capture of the goal? Perhaps it is the state of passive awareness that allows spontaneity to continually be experienced in the pursuit. I oftentimes define the goal, but do not as strictly define every moment of how I will go about achieving it. There is more room for chance and spontaneity on the road to the goal than in the holding and achieving of the goal itself. “Life is what happens to you when you are making other
plans.
