Self -Perception

Today I know when I am anxious or in pain. The reason that I know this is because (1) I am no longer stuffing my anxiety so that I can’t feel it or anything else and (2) I am not constantly living with a low level of discomfort. When anxiety comes up for me, it feels different, and I am out of sorts. I can see this as a gift today. It is wonderful that I
am on intimate enough terms with my insides to know what is going on with them and that I feel good enough about myself to let myself actually have my feelings without acting out on them. I have someone to take care of me today and that is me. When I am not myself, I check in to find out why. When I find out, I take steps to solve it or get some
comfort.
I have my own insides.
All great discoveries are made by men whose feelings run ahead of their thinking.
