Spirituality
This is a journey without a goal. Recovery has opened my heart and soul to spirituality. Where before I thought I had to have all the answers, today I learn to live in the question, to be open to learning and letting something new and vital in. Where before I thought I had to be unbending and stand firm whether or not I knew why, today I learn to surrender, I allow life to happen rather than trying to force it into place. I see that I need not have all the answers and I understand that my ego and self will often blind me to the wisdom that is present in the moment. Today I value the experience of being alive more than being right, I understand that there is strength in bending and freedom in letting go and letting God.
I accept that I will never fully understand—I embrace the mystery
The only ones among you who will be really happy are those who will have sought and found how to serve.

Love like you’ll never be hurt
Sing like no one’s listening
Live like it’s heaven on earth.” My Lovely Samsoon
